Point/Line/Weight

The Point/Line/Weight series combined the drawing and sculpture interplay of previous work with an interest in materials and spatial elements. Almost all of these pieces share the same structural elements: a black peg attached to the wall at a right angle, black thread draped over or originating from the pegs, and lead weights fastened to one or both ends of the threads.
Gravity is a fourth element that gives form to the other elements and unites them. It becomes the underlying law for the creation of form and meaning.
